There is a difference between praying in tongues and the gift of tongues. This video from David Middleton explains it with scriptural backing:

Nowadays, I’m praying in tongues constantly when I’m on my own.

1 Corinthians 14:18-19 King James Version (KJV)

18 I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:

19 Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

At first, I found it strange and difficult but after five minutes of praying in tongues, it’s now second nature!  Awesome.

If you have repented, which is to turn away from sin, but have not invited the Holy Spirit into you, Skype me on lloyd.chin. (dot after chin), and I’ll pray the Holy Spirit to enter you.  Alternatively, you can fast for three days continuously without food, just drink water and ask the Holy Spirit to come.  I invited the Holy Spirit in this way.  It should feel like a tingling sensation all over the body that is very gentle but very comforting.  If you say anything the sensation pretty much disappears immediately.

If you are still struggling with turning away from sin: use this prayer to overcome sin in your life.  When God has revealed to you that your heart is wicked, please contact me.  This means you are ready for the Holy Spirit.
