Many of us think of ourselves as Christians. We go to church, we go to bible studies and we have Christian friends, but who are believers in Jesus’ eyes? Are we believers when we believe that Jesus is God? Clearly not, for many shall call him Lord, Lord and did not know him.
So, what makes us believers? One good indicator is when you are actually experiencing the bible and not just reading it like a story book.
Mark 16:17-18 King James Version (KJV)
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
It’s time to get started. Humble yourself before the Lord. Assume you know nothing about God and ask him for his knowledge and wisdom. Ask God for forgiveness every single day. Then ask God for his will to be done in your life. Surrender everything as and when required by God. This is how to receive power from God.
If you are experiencing anxiety, depression, spiritual blockages – you can overcome those things in yourself and others by praying to Jesus.
