I’ve heard many Christians pray and unfortunately their prayers are not very effective. If your prayers aren’t working, this video will help you pray powerful prayers. We have to understand that there is a spiritual realm around us:
There are two preconditions for effective prayers:
John 15:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
- Abide in Christ, which is to die to self and to live to please Jesus Christ and not ourselves
- Let the words of Jesus abide in you, which is to keep the commandments of Jesus Christ – love your God with all your heart, mind and strength and to love your neighbour as you love yourself
If we love God, we will be living for God and not seeking the things that please ourselves (fancy cars, fancy clothes, fancy food, fancy holidays, TV, movies, secular music etc). Everything we do is to further his kingdom by ministering to broken hearted people. And when we pray, we are not worried about the things we want. We pray according to the will of the Father and that his will be done in our lives.
Generally, we are praying for deliverance and healing for people who are desperate for help because they are experiencing schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, fear, rejection, hurt, illnesses, cancer, joblessness etc…
We are praying for gifts of the Holy Spirit. We are praying for wisdom, strength and patience. We are praying for the Holy Spirit to guide and inspire us everyday. We are praying for God to take our flesh away and to replace us with Jesus Christ.
We will know that God is listening to your prayers when demons are expelled and people are getting healed.
John 9:31 King James Version (KJV)
31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
If we want to live the Bible and do the works that the Apostles did, the first step is total surrender. After that, pray for the will of the Father to happen in our lives. Don’t try to make things happen with our human strength.
