There are people in this world who have given up everything for Jesus Christ.  This man and his friend lived in Turkey and they really, really love the Lord Jesus.  Listen to his amazing testimony.  For those who believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, please note that Christians are already being persecuted around the world:

John 15:13 King James Version (KJV)

13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

When persecution comes, be strong in patience.  Power has been given to the beast to make war against the saints and to overcome us.  Those who live by the sword shall die by the sword:

Revelation 13:5-10 King James Version (KJV)

And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

If any man have an ear, let him hear.

10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

You will need the Holy Spirit in you to overcome the troubles to come.  Without the power of the Holy Spirit, I believe we won’t make it.  Therefore, surrender to Jesus and keep his commandments so that He can pray the Father to send the gift of the Holy Spirit to you.

John 14:15-17 King James Version (KJV)

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
